U4GM What to Run on Barb for Tormented Andariel S12

I went into the Wounded Court thinking my Season 12 Barbarian was dialled in. Then the Tormented Echo of Andariel reminded me how thin that confidence is. If you're still tweaking gear, you'll quickly notice how much the right Diablo 4 Items can smooth out the rough edges, because this fight punishes even small holes in your setup. The room feels tight, her movement's messy, and every mistake stacks up fast. You don't get to "play it safe" for long, not if you want the kill.

Build choices that actually matter
Most Barbs are still living in Whirlwind right now, and yeah, it works. Dust Devil setups turn the screen into a blender, and that constant contact helps keep damage rolling even when she's blinking around. But you can't just spin and pray. You need Fury to stay stable, and that means you can't drift too far off-target for too long. I've seen people over-invest in raw damage and then wonder why the run falls apart. Keep your shout rotation tight, keep Berserking up, and don't neglect the boring stuff like Fortify uptime. It's not glamorous, but it keeps you on your feet.

Surviving poison, beams, and the panic moments
Poison resistance isn't optional here. If it's not capped, you'll feel it immediately, usually while you're trying to recover from a teleport combo. The beams are the other big check. They look manageable until you're boxed in by your own movement and the arena geometry. This is where a clean "Unstoppable" button saves runs. Iron Skin can bail you out when you get clipped and can't reset safely, and Rallying Cry is huge when you need to push through a slow or a nasty pin. A lot of players hold these too long, like they're saving them for some perfect moment. Use them early, then rebuild the cooldown rhythm.

When the dungeon decides to ruin your day
The wildest part is when the game piles on extra problems. You're halfway through a high-tier Nightmare Dungeon, you're already managing Andariel's patterns, and then a Nightmare Portal pops. Or the Butcher shows up, doing what he does. If that happens, don't try to be a hero and split focus evenly. Pick one threat to control first. Kite the Butcher through your tornado trails if you can, keep Andariel in reach, and watch your footing so you don't get dragged into beam paths. The fight still comes down to stagger, though. Build it steadily, then unload everything during the knockdown window like you mean it.

Loot goals and keeping the grind moving
Everybody's chasing that Ring of Starless Skies because it flips resource pressure on its head and lets your rotation loop without feeling starved. Even when it doesn't drop, these runs still pay out in Ancestral upgrades, better Greater Affixes, and more Glyph progress, which adds up quicker than people admit. If you're short on materials or just want to speed up your gearing between attempts, a lot of players use U4gm to pick up currency or items so they can spend more time fighting and less time stuck doing cleanup farming.
