We recently finished doing up the new house and now the time has come to tackle the garden. A proper lawn is absolutely mandatory but a small paved spot for sitting outside with a cup of tea and chatting with the hubby sounds lovely. Some durable seating is needed for that space so the pieces actually survive the constant rain and occasional frost. Where would people recommend looking for weather resistant garden pieces in the UK?

House renovations always drain every bit of energy before the garden even gets started. A decent spot for a cuppa definitely makes all that previous effort worthwhile though. Standard timber looks lovely in the showroom but turns green and rots within a year over here. Poly rattan built over an aluminium frame is usually the smartest route for the British climate. The rain simply bounces off the synthetic weave and rust cannot take hold on the metal. Places like Dobbies or similar large garden centres usually have solid displays to test out the comfort.

The weather in this country changes about five times a day. Nobody wants a mad dash outside to throw plastic covers over the chairs at the first sign of rain. The furniture needs to handle a sudden downpour without turning into a soggy sponge. You can look at the selection of patio furniture in the UK over here https://rengard.co.uk . The synthetic materials on those sets handle the temperature drops brilliantly. Everything stays intact through the winter months without any extra maintenance.
