How do you choose an essay topic when nothing feels interesting?
I usually get stuck before I even start writing because I can’t decide which topic is actually worth exploring. Sometimes I have several ideas, but none of them feels specific enough to turn into a decent essay. Other times I pick something just because it seems easy and then regret it halfway through. Lately I’ve been trying to look for inspiration when choosing an essay subject by thinking about questions I’ve genuinely wondered about rather than just picking the first acceptable topic from the assignment sheet. It seems to make the research much less painful. How do you usually decide which subject is worth writing about?
